Hello to all from Puerto Vallarta!  The weather here is great and the margaritas are flowing!  Don't look for spelling errors here because they say, no problem! yippee  Last night we went to a  a place that was filled with American tourists of all ages.  My husband and I sat on the upper level and watched as teenie boppers and men in their 70's made fools of themselves drinking shooters from women dressed in less material than I have in my underware.  They had a song that seemed to bring in everyone passing on the street.  One phrase was sung out by everyone in the bar; Alice, Alice, who the ---- is Allice.  I guess people who don't allow themselves to cuss on occasion find great pleasure in mass company being able to actually say the f word in public.   eek  For me, I just had a great time and excuse for another drinkie to keep our seats!  About half-way through the night, another woman rode a donkey right through the bar singing something strange.  Did I ever have a figure like that?  If so, where did it go?   hammer  Anyway, wish you all were here.  We are off again tonight; anybody got my bail money?

Greetings to all once again from Puerto Vallarta!  Today we went to a restaurant highly recommended by a friend,(now enemy)!  The glitch was that we had to take public transportation to get there.  Has anybody ever been on a bus in Mexico?  Let me help you out;  the bus leaves at mock speed when your FIRST foot hits the FIRST step of the bus.  The door closes before your skirt gets inside.  Now, here comes the poetic justice.  I have always been critical about people living in America that can't speak the language.   What goes around comes around.  Here I am going through town with my fanny flapping in the breeze and I can't tell the bus driver in Spanish that part of me is still outside!  (As if he cared)  By the time we finally got to the restaurant, I had wet my pants and needed a drink bad.  As luck would have it, refreshment was readily available.   I didn't worry much about the trip back; I was singing, "How dry I am" when my husband tapped me on the shoulder and said, "Put a sock in it, Karen and get off the bus."  Another great day in Puerto Vallarta. eek

Hi again from Puerto Vallarita, the land of uneven pavement and margarita feet. eek  No trip to Mexico is complete until one member of the party slips on the street and ends up face down in the dirt.  No, it wasn't me!  My husband was so busy trying to keep me away from the vendors; that is what he gets for trying to be stingy!  We are still having a great time here.  As you walk down the boardwalk along the shore, the smells of pork, fish and chicken cooking in the huts fill the air.  It makes you hungry even after you have just eaten.  Tomorrow I'll be looking to buy a tripple X moo-moo.  You gals over 50 will know what I am talking about.  Happy trails everyone! diva love

Home again, Home again, jig a dee jog and life stinks!  Just kidding, Georgia is beautiful this time of year. We got home safely (sorry kids, the life insurance and banana peels you put in the luggage  were highly overrated)  Actually, I really did used to buy those flight insurance policies offered when I was married to the Corporate husband ( see Corporate Wives) I was as successful as my kids were for this flight  hammer The alaleas are in full bloom and the grass is green.  Life will be better when I win the rocks, something and sizzers contest with my husband to decide who has to cut the grass.  Ok, I am still pretending I am in Mexico and have had a little of the bubbly.  Authors are susposed to be drunks, Right?   yippee  Tomorrow reality will set in and the diet begins.  eek  Anybody out there rich and famous that likes fat women that can save me?  I'm really cute!
