My fiancee loves to cook. He learned how to do beautiful, gourmet meals by watching Emeril on TV. And now......drumroll, please.........he's won a contest for best holiday recipe on Emeril Live! They are coming to our home in January to film him making the recipe, then they'll fly him to New York next fall for the show taping where he'll sit at the counter with his hero while his hero makes HIS recipe!
How cool is that?! I am so happy for him and proud of him.
It's a dream come true for him and I'm so glad he gets to meet somebody who has had such an impact on his life. His son and I get to go, too, so we'll get to be part of his big day.
