[color=purple]hi soapstar, thank you  for the nice welcome, right now i have just the parrot, it was my husbands before i got here but now i say he is mine. i love cats but dont have one here--i did have 2 back in america but my ex hysband let his g/f get rid of them for spite against me. when we go back to usa i told my husband the first thing we are getting is a kitten. we cant take the parrot as this country is banned from taking birds.

i dont see many posters here--do you know how many memebers there are here? i usually go to   womansday.com   

it is really a huge forum and i have been going there for more then 3 years and i love it. i came here to look to meet new ppl but i dont see many posters--and many topics are very old. but i will stick around as i am hoping to meet and see many more ppl.

I am a new one as well, just joined today.

You mentioned you are living in Pakistan? What is that like, coming from the US and then moving?
My bf is Pakistani and i like hearing him talk about his culture although he never really got to live in Pakistan and remember it b/c they moved to the US when he was very young.
