Welcome to DivaTribe

A diva accepts herself as she is right now and strives to be even better.
She doesn't change who she is to fit someone else's idea of what she ought to be.
She reaches for her own ideal sense of whom she wants to be.
She's strong; she's courageous; she's creative.

Hi, everyone! I have stumbled in here and I believe it\'s a bunch of like-minded women. Wow, what a relief. I have never been accused of being a Diva, but there is no doubt that I\'m ALL woman. (Hm. Is moodiness a Diva trait? lol)
I hope to get to know a bunch of you....between college (again) and everything else, I\'m trying to keep up.
Be Blessed! cat

I work in a college library and I\'m just finishing up grad school.  What topic are you studying?

Hello, Ladies; thanks for the warn greetings! smile flower
I am in school for someting related to Psychology and Human Services. I want to work with families in crisis to try and help the members to get back up instead of falling down more.
What sparked the return to school? Well.... primarily, being seperated from my DH for almost 4 years taught me a bit about becoming self-supporting through my own contributions. I finally figured out that I can still get a degree and do what I LOVE to do, which coincidentally is what I\'m thinking God\'s wanting me to do, also! (I love it when stuff works out like that!) I missed getting enrolled in the summer semester, so I\'m hanging out with the kids for now, but I am anxious to get back in there. Seems the older I get, the more my brain appreciates a little food now & then.  thumbs up

Blessings
