The school year has been great, but I am also so glad to have DD home again for the summer.   And, not having to drive every day will be a welcome break, too.  They had their end-of-year pre k-8th grade assembly, and DD\'s class sang a couple of songs.  I could hear her over some of the other (very quiet) kids, and it just warmed my heart.    

We are going to do lots of fun things together this summer - so glad to have some time on our hands again!
