I still don´t know how to spell the name of the d&mn thing!!...anyway...sis went to have her MRI and then got an appointment for a neurologist at the Social SEcurity Institute to look at it...they said some of those parasytes seemed to have survived and, that she needed to be admitted for a second round...only, this time they mentioned that the medicine they had given her last time is not THE #1 thing...but, that they don´t have the #1 thing and asked her if she could purchase it...turned out to cost $71...they told her if they had given her that medicine to start with, the parasytes would probably be all dead...

honest, we were soooo mad!!!...also, they said they wanted to admitt her mainly because they were going to give her steroids to reduce the swelling of her brain and to make sure that there would be no edemas left when the parasytes died...and they want to do an electro-encephalogram to check the lesions in her brain...she was admitted for 5 days...2 days go by and she didn´t get the encephalogram...THEN, they bring in an epidemiologist (sp?) to look at her, and he says there\'s no need for her to be there or to take any more medicines, so he discharges her and sends her home...I went to pick her up, but, honestly, we are very skeptical about the whole thing...she already made an appointment with a neurologist (he is the chief of neurology at the SSI, but has a private practice as well, and this is where she is going to go...so she can ask any old question that comes to mind!!)...we are really worried...they never even did that encephalogram in the end, so we don´t even know if she´s actually getting better or not....
Needless to say, from Tuesday afternoon until Thursday afternoon (while she was at the hospital) I´ve been running out at lunch time to go see her and then running out at 5pm sharp for the 5-6 visit and then back to the office to try to finish the tons and tons of work I have...and, now the administration has decided that the office needs to look better, and we have all been ordered to keep our workspaces spotless and free of clutter and papers...

(I know this all comes from the organizational climate survey, where everybody said the facilities were awful, but, honest, they ARE awful, and, no amount of de-cluttering will make them look better!!)...oh, well, I´m already off-topic...
I´m writing from a cyber-cafe, because I know I won´t have the time to join in next week!! (on top of everything else, I got DD\'s party!!)...
Love to all!!
