Title: Sprained Ankle! Post by: JennR on August 04, 2008, 01:23:15 PM DS sprained his ankle last night on the neighbors trampoline, and now he is going to miss the first week of Football practice!
I have told the kids a million times never to double jump - but of course they didn't listen... When 14 yr old DS landed - outweighing 8 yr old DS by 70 pounds - the trampoline bounced way back & 8 yr old DS twisted his ankle badly. Thank God it is not broken! Now he keeps saying he wishes he could go back in time and not double jump! Title: Re: Sprained Ankle! Hope your DS is feeling better and isn't in alot of pain.

His ankle seems to have healed very well, he is not favoring the other foot, or showing any signs of injury any longer. The Dr. said it was only a mild sprain on Monday, and that if it felt better by Wednesday he could resume activities (although I told him Friday at the earliest!) So, I think he will be good to go rejoining football practice on Monday!
