Yes I am single, but I am also in a commited relationship.

I am now single and will stay that way as I never plan to remarry (twice was enough!). However I am in now and have been in the past relationships, they just don't define my status :)

hey!

i am single.  i never had a boyfriend and i'm 21.  but it never bother me.  i think it should not lower a woman's self-esteem or confidence.  I even enjoy it.

I'm OFFICIALLY single..but TECHINICALLY have been dating a guy since June. It's the most confusing thing I've ever been apart of. Usually, I have the upper hand and all of the control, but now for the first time-I'm at HIS control.

My name is Penny Wrenn and I'm freelance writer who has written for Marie Claire, Redbook, Glamour, O, The Oprah Magazine and other titles. Last week, Jen gave me her blessing to post a query on divatribe.com about a story I'm working on. 

I'm writing a piece that asks women, "Are you having sex too soon?" The article will run in a national women's magazine in early 2009.  I'm looking for women in their 20s, 30s and 40s (single and otherwise) to share some candid thoughts, opinions and experiences on the subject. The only requirement is that you talk openly about your dating and sex life.

yes single..only recently so and loving it!

Single and in a committed relationship.   Until your married, you're single.  I guess there really is no classification for single on the tax return, but not available on the "market"  How about "officially connected" ???

[/b] :sad:I am single, and almost 52.  I have never been married, and for several years, was caregiver for my Mother.  I was always too picky, and the few times I've tried to date, it never worked out because I think I am just unable to let go and give myself over to the experience of it all.  I at times know I am too set in my ways, and don't know if I could ever really be happy sharing my home and life with anyone, and yet I get scared of being old and alone.  I have been head over heels for guys, but they never felt that way for me, so I don't know, I may be and old cat lady always. :eek:

I'm single and LOVING IT! I have never felt more free in my life, being single is, for me the most enjoyable lifestyle. It gives me the time to have fun with friends and family, play with hobbies, and walk around my house with facial mask on and not have to worry about my boyfriend busting in and seeing me looking like mental patient. But I wont go as far as to say I will never date again. Some day there might be that special someone who I'm willing to take a chance with.

I'm single and happy. I love freedom. I can have relationship but I really enjoy being single.  :)
